Sound fundamentals should not cost a player the swing that is already theirs. Joey Wuertemberger teaches them while letting each competitive junior stay athletic and individual, with the short game and scoring zone getting attention alongside the full swing. Golf Magazine named him a Top 100 Teacher for 2026–2027, and he has placed more than 100 high school golfers into college programs.

Bogey Hills Country Club
Denny Walters Jr. builds well-rounded athletes at Bogey Hills Golf Academy and Performance Institute, where golf instruction runs alongside fitness and nutrition guidance from Emerge Fitness Training. TrackMan and K-Coach data make each change in a junior's swing measurable, and players train on the course, at the practice facility and in the simulator at Bogey Hills Country Club. Academy players' college commitments include Missouri S&T, Central Methodist and Mineral Area College.

The Grand Golf Club (Fairmont Grand Del Mar)
Putting sits at the center of training for juniors who compete, with the short game and mental approach working beside it. Derek Uyeda created his own method for putting, pairing advanced analytics with visual feedback, and he designed it for winning at the highest competitive levels. He helped guide PGA Tour player Xander Schauffele to two major championship wins in 2024.

BraeBurn Country Club
Tournament juniors need swing changes they can carry onto the first tee, not a head full of swing thoughts. Scott Hause, a PGA member, takes complex mechanics and makes them simple to put into practice quickly, and he coaches players of every level, up to professional tour level. Golf Digest recognized him as one of the Best Teachers in Texas.

Blackhawk Country Club / Blackhawk Golf Academy
Derek Schnarr trains each junior at Balance & Believe Golf and Performance Academy as a whole athlete, because competitive golf asks more of a player than a sound swing. Golf instruction runs alongside fitness recommendations, nutrition guidance and the mental side of the game, so the physical foundations grow with the technical ones. For juniors planning to play beyond high school, college preparation is part of the plan.

David Ogrin Golf Academy
In 1996 David Ogrin won the Texas Open, beating Tiger Woods by two shots, during a PGA Tour career that ran from 1983 to 2000. He now teaches juniors who compete to plan a round the way a tour player does, pairing swing analysis with tour-level strategy and course management. Knowing what to do with the ball counts as much as knowing how to hit it.

Baylands Golf Links
On-course playing lessons sit beside private instruction for juniors aiming to play college golf. Roger Pineda, a former Division I scholarship golfer at the University of the Pacific, diagnoses each player's swing, explains what has to change and builds the drills and practice routines that lock the changes in. He has guided high school golfers to college programs including Harvard, Yale and Princeton.

Stadium Golf Center / Future Champions Golf
Training at Future Champions Golf is built for the junior who plays tournaments, combining technical development, competitive strategy and mindset work to make confident, disciplined golfers who perform under pressure. Long-term development and life balance count as much as skill. Chris Smeal founded the program in 2004 and since then has placed more than 200 junior golfers in college programs.

The Golf Garage (San Jose)
Every swing change shows up in the data at The Golf Garage, an indoor facility where Trackman Dual Radar tracks each one and gives instant feedback. Matt Soza leads instruction there, and his students praise him for turning complex concepts into simple, repeatable movements. For juniors who want to compete, training reaches past the swing into mental coaching and strength and conditioning, building players from junior level to competitive adult golf.
