There is no fixed rule. The right frequency depends on your child's interest, goals and how much practice happens between lessons. Many families find that a steady, regular rhythm works well, because each lesson builds on the last. Short, frequent practice at home or at the range often helps more than adding extra lessons without time to work on them.

Readiness matters more than a birthday. A child is usually ready when they can follow simple instructions, stay focused on a short activity and show real interest in hitting balls. Early lessons for young beginners should feel like play, with lots of movement and quick tasks. If your child enjoys it and asks to go back, the timing is right.
