How do lessons prepare a player for tournaments?
Good preparation goes well beyond the swing. Lessons can cover course management, a steady pre-shot routine and how to recover after a bad hole. Coaches often design practice that adds a little pressure, such as scoring games around the green. Learning the rules and etiquette ahead of time also helps a young player feel calm when it counts.
How do private lessons compare with an academy?
They serve different needs. Private lessons give a player the coach's full attention, which suits fixing a specific habit or building a personal plan. An academy offers structure, regular practice and the company of other juniors, which many children find motivating. Plenty of families combine them, adding private time when a particular skill needs focus.
