About
Meet Jared Paul, Junior Golf Coach in Overland Park, KS
Jared Paul played competitive golf at the junior level, in college and at the professional level. At Topgolf he started out as lead instructor and went on to become a Director of Instruction.
Jared treats each student's swing as individual and looks for the adjustment that suits that swing instead of making everyone copy a tour professional. He aims for small changes a student can follow and fit into their own swing. Reviewers liked that he uses short videos of a student's swing to point out strengths and what to work on. Jared also wants students to have fun in lessons. Parents found that he connected with their children and stayed patient with them.
He teaches juniors at Brookridge Golf & Country Club in Overland Park, KS.

Where does Jared teach?
Jared Paul teaches at Brookridge Golf & Country Club in Overland Park, KS.
How do private lessons compare with an academy?
They serve different needs. Private lessons give a player the coach's full attention, which suits fixing a specific habit or building a personal plan. An academy offers structure, regular practice and the company of other juniors, which many children find motivating. Plenty of families combine them, adding private time when a particular skill needs focus.
How can parents support practice at home between lessons?
Keep it short, simple and fun. A little putting on the carpet or soft chips into a basket outdoors can reinforce what the coach taught. Ask your child to show you the main idea from the lesson, which helps them remember it. Try not to add swing advice of your own, since mixed messages can confuse a young player.
