Matthew began his career in 1995 helping open Hartefeld National in Avondale, PA. He opened his first golf academy at Chisel Creek in Landenberg, PA, in 2000 and ran it until 2007. Before coming to Magnolia Greens Golf Plantation in Leland, NC, he worked at Bald Head Island Country Club.
